Dr. Jie Hao, Assistant Professor of Accounting, completed her Ph.D. in Accounting at the University of Texas at San Antonio. She earned her Master of Accountancy and Master of Business Administration from DePaul University. Dr. Hao’s research interests encompass a range of topics, including financial reporting, graphical disclosure, sustainability reporting, corporate culture, gender diversity, auditing, and debt contracting. She has authored published articles in prestigious journals, including Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Business Ethics, Accounting and Finance, Australia Accounting Review, and American Business Review. Prior to joining Susquehanna University, Dr. Hao taught financial accounting, managerial accounting, and financial statement analysis courses at the University of Texas at San Antonio and City College of Chicago. At Susquehanna University, she teaches intermediate accounting, financial accounting, CPA review, and Asian Management Culture and Society.

About Me

Dr. Jie Hao, Assistant Professor of Accounting, completed her Ph.D. in Accounting at the University of Texas at San Antonio.
